The Shops at Wailea

Heitman Capital Management LLC, a Chicago investment management firm purchased the shops at Wailea for $342 million.   The shops sits on 16 acres within Maui's Wailea Resort area.  The shopping center opened in 2000 and has approximately 70 luxury shops and restaurants. 

It is still unknown if the new owners plan to make any drastic changes to the shopping center.  Currently the recently installed parking meters are still in the upward position and you may still park for free.
